Disappointed this year

Always been very easy to use. This year I had to jump through hoops to prove it was me and when I went to pay to send my State return in, it wouldn't let me, even though I had an account, with password and a code to get in, was still unable to access.

SERIOUSLY - FREE E FILE ADVERTISEMENT AND THEN $$

HAVEN'T USED TT FOR A LONG TIME. DECIDED TO RETURN TO IT. MUCH TO OUR SURPRISE WE GET NEAR THE END AND WHAM OUR 5 HOUR EXCURSION THROUGH CONVOLUTED EXPLANATIONS AND FRUSTRATION, WE GET HIT WITH A $25.00 FEE TO FILE STATE. SO MUCH FOR FREE FILING. POOR FORM INTUIT, POOR FORM.

Turbo Tax makes it so easy to file your taxes. I've been using it for 9 years now and the step by step instructions has made the process easy and even fun!

I see Turbo Tax is moving to more electronic filing, but why ask to do direct debit then print a payment voucher for Hawaii tax payment? seems to be flawed. I decided to just mail in a payment to be sure not knowing if payment was debited from my checking or not.

Great except for charge to file state

I have used this for may years and it's remained a familiar interface. I like the step by step guide to walk through every possible tax liability or area for savings. I am not sure why the state eFile continues to be a cost option. If it's the states that need to get on board then it should be addressed. If it's a cost for Turbo Tax then it seems like $25 is too high a price. It would be nice to provide that as an included feature per the cost paid for the product.

Printing navigation should be easier

Though not perfect, pages had more explanations than I observed in prior years. Printing is not as intuitive as I'd like it to be, particularly when selecting either State or Federal (versus both together) or when previewing/printing versus FINAL copies for PDF/records and filing. I ended up printing a "preview" copy, not knowing that the next page was going to offer me an opportunty to print an official copy for filing. (Hope the preview copy was the same - shouldn't be this confusing.)
