product is good, but there are hidden fees

I like the product but even when you purchase one with a paid state download, you are still forced to pay a filing fee - this is not at all clear at purchase.

Saving and efiling returns would not be an issue

I have been a long time user and have always returned the following year, no hesitation.
This year once I save my file I am locked out. Cannot reopen, cannot efile....completely locked out.
Google search reveals others with this problem.
Trouble shooting tips useless.
