Hits you up with added fees at the end.

No way to transfer to free file system even if eleigible, so it hits you up with state fees at the end.

Did a terrible job with covid-19 stimulus

The stimulus was not supposed to be taxable or impact your tax return. The way turbo tax automatically made the stimulus a rebate was very confusing and it appeared as if it did impact my refund negatively. This is bad planning/programing practice by TurboTax. This should have been addressed in the income section right off the bat, not at the end where it flipped me from a refund to owing money at the very last step of review. I had to spend a bunch of time figuring this out and it left me very disappointed in turbo tax. They way they approached this went against all the IRS guidance that if you qualify it would not negatively impact you taxes.

Turbo Tax is very easy to use and up to date. I have compared outcome with another paid preparer. We both had same result.
The User Blog is pretty useless as it is not qualified accountants that are responding to the questions.. therefore answers differ. Turbo Tax could definately improve on the help section when you have a specific question. No telephone numbers listed.

Turbo Tax works very well!

TurboTax works very well and is simple to follow through the steps. If I had a complaint it would be that it takes quite a while to download. Once downloaded it is very simple and easy to get an accurate return.
