Turbotax is failsafe at its best.

I started with Turbotax years ago. Since then occasionally I have tried other big name popular brands, but each time I always return to Turbotax. I find it to be the easiest to use and with the strongest failsafe. I will NEVER use anything else. Why mess with the rest when you can hang with the best?!!!

Decent Tax software...

Overall it's a decent tax software. It can be a bit confusing at times, especially when filling out uncommon documents.

Turbo tax is an easy to use simple product. We have been using it for 10 years. Much cheaper than paying person. Password recovery is another situation.

crash, lost 5 hours of work, had to start all over

TurboTax Deluxe 2020 crashed on macOS Big Sur 11.2.3, which cost me 5 hours of work, since I have to start all over again. I made the mistake of not having saved my return to a file. Bad enough for TurboTax to crash. But not asking to save returns upon entering first data? Not storing backups? Not offering automatic recovery upon restart? So, File->Open Recent is just empty. No backup files to be found under my home directory. What a poor software design by intuit.

Software Stuck - Won't Access Amendment Feature

No matter how many times I open the software, it goes directly to the already-filed return. It won't let me access the "File An Amendment" section at the bottom of the opening page.

i have used Turbo Tax for 10 years and this one is the only one that did not transfer previous years returns and I have to manually enter everything... This is the last year of Turbo Tax,
