Turbo Tax Review

TurboTax was more difficult this year than previous years. Part of it was my fault as I bought the version that did not include STATE. When I got to the end of Federal and tried to do STATE it cost me an additional $45. If I had originally bought the version that included STATE then it would only have cost me and additional $10. Also the STATE version did not ask me any questions. It made assumptions that would have cost me an additional ~ $60 if I had not gone through the worksheets and found that it calculated my state as "Married filing separately" vs "Married filing jointly". Additionally, eFiling is NEVER free. Please stop advertising that you have FREE efiling.
