Second or third year using TurboTax. Love it. So easy - just follow the prompts on each page. Further hints, instructions, and explanations are there to be used if confused or not sure about something. Will be back next year!

Great, just with one little snag

The only hitch I ran into was when entering my 1099-G to report my 2019 state tax refund as part of my income. I'm not 100% sure if I needed to include it as income, since it wasn't a refund from taxes paid on a business or farm. I initially thought it needed to be included regardless, but then turbotax wanted me to give a name for the business that had been taxed, when there was none. My state sends out a 1099-G to everyone who got a state income tax refund, and I thought it needed to be counted as income for 2020, but the questions about the "business" made it confusing. I included it to be on the safe side, but I may have done so unnecessarily, and ended up paying more taxes.
