It's how I do my taxes

I've used TurboTax for 20 years. It's quite good at navigating what comes up for me. In doing my daughter's taxes it picked up on unpaid stimulus payment, which was helpful for her. I don't know if any deductions have been missed since I don't know what I don't know, but it seems like it went smoothly

Not as good as prior editions

two problems with this edition. In prior years you could add supporting details with a right click. In this edition I had to find this capability in an obscure drop down menu - extremely inconvenient. The traceability of data entered into the actual tax forms is very obscure. I should be able to trace this data with a right click or something simple. I found this to be almost impossible in this edition.

Great tax filing solution

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. So much better then using paper forms. The fillings have always been accepted. The "learn more" feature on most screens is very helpful in understanding the subject.

Turbo Tax is straight forward but one does have to search to find the forms needed but they are all there.

I had an issue with getting my TurboTax loaded onto my laptop but when I finally got it loaded and running as usual it was like a breeze. So easy to use and I got my maximum refund and my stimulus pay too!

Turbotax 2019 Deluxe can't efile any ammendments

TurboTax 2019 Deluxe PC software is okay except for when you have to ammend a return a year or more later it won't allow you to efile the ammended returns even when the IRS started allowing you to efile ammended returns. TurboTax didn't update their software or allow us to efile the ammended returns forcing us to print them out and mail them manually. Not only is this a pain in the butt, but their software prints out un-needed pages mixed in with the required pages. On top of that if you try to print out forms double sided, the software does not arrange the page boundaries to print out double sided properly causing you to have to manually select each of the pages to print out correctly double sided. What a pain and oversight that they don't fix these problems. This is why I rate it 3 stars for now.
