E-filing feels manipulative at the end

Fine experience. Clicking through everything is a little painful. The title explains the biggest pain point. The $300 charitable contribution deduction bug was painful to work around.

getting very buggy

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years and I'm getting frustrated. The software freeze during install was annoying. The software freeze while trying to pay Intuit to submit state was infuriating and unacceptable. The inability to paste passwords from a password manager negates most of the financial institution download compatibility. On the positive, it's pretty much unchanged in recent years.

Turbo Tax Leads the Way

Overall, it's very easy to do. I'm confident that I get a the best tax results possible. It's hands on enough that I don't have to "hope" the tax preparer gets all my deductions. I would like to suggest the my RV interest payments are more clearly defined, to facilitate easy recording. Otherwise, great.

Inputting the information using your step by step questions made the process very simple and easy to use.
The constant barrage of your advertising file both federal and state taxes for free is alway enticing, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has a state website that allows individuals to file returns at no cost, yet you want to charge me a $25.00 filing fee?
