To file federally is no charge. They charge you to file a state electronically. That should be included in the cost of turbo-tax. I have used turbo tax for many years with all years available on my computer and uploaded for comparison, yet this year it asked for obscure information from previous returns. That information should be automated.

Very Disappointed!

Had to file a 1099-MISC without a schedule C and instructions were very poor. It took me several hours to figure out.

I've been using Turbotax for years - the small random hangups (wouldn't save unless I chose a different directory, wouldn't print except to PDF) don't fill me with a lot of confidence. But my taxes are done.

The step-by-step method is great so I don't forget anything. We used to have a home business and rental property and the program guided us thru everything. (When I first started using TurboTax, it was call Mac-In-Tax!)
