Great for federal, needs work for multiple states

If you have to move, or your spouse has to work in other states, then it it's best to go to a "human" tax company as this software CAN NOT handle anything slightly complicated. The requirements for non-resident or multiple residencies filing to state requirements is far beyond this software's capabilitity and MANY HOURS and MANY MANUAL corrections must occur to properly prepare these type of return. For simple single earners in a single state, then this is fine.

Refund and turbo tax

I used Turbo Tax last year and it turns out the calculation for my refund was wrong. The state sent me a form explaining why the refund was wrong and what my corrected refund was. This caused me a lot of confusion this year because the refund I RECEIVED is NOT the Refund recorded in my State tax calculation on Turbo Tax. Especially because that amount is required in several places on the forms. It took me about a month to figure out which number I was supposed to use in these forms. So, it also occurs to me that you GUARRENTEE that you have calculated the right number for my tax refund, but it turned out that it did not. The correct number was lower than what was calculated in Turbo Tax. How do I get something from the Turbo Tax guarentee?

Extremely helpful

I have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe for many years now. I would not be able to do my Tax Returns without it. Some of the Federal Tax Rules and Regulations are confusing to say the least. Turbo Tax Deluxe guides you through all the different pages and lets you know when you make a mistake. When you are done, they let you know that everything is correct. It is also very helpful that they download all your information from the previous tax year to your current Tax return which saves a lot of time.

Very disappointed in this years product. Previous years it copied information from the previous year. This year I had to re-enter all the information. What a freaking pain. Very much let down due to the extra time it took.
