TurboTax is fine

First, I am still not happy that I had to buy a new MacBook Air in order to run OS Big Sur in order to continue to use TurboTax to file for 2020.
Second, I’m still not sure I understand the QBI Qualified Business Income deduction, but the TT text suggests even the IRS is still uncertain.
Third, links to Quicken and other software still need to be thoroughly verified and I have doubts about security.

TurboTax is the best way to file, done right

I have used TurboTax for years. Most years my taxes are not super-complex. One year I had to do an Estate and a business and that got complicated. TurboTax has been always able to make the complex or vague questions about obscure rules clear.
The blue links on many pages let you learn more about whatever the IRS or state is asking.
The walk-through is clear (as good as tax law can let it be.)
Taxes are difficult and lots of money so TurboTax is tackling a difficult subject and making it as good as possible.
If I had any suggestion it would be to have a "search this on the Web" for each page. I have found that some questions just aren't really clear to non-accountants. And maybe consider if there are some more that you could bring from previous years like Railroad Pension, etc.

Wish I would have seen the dollar amount to claim medical expenses under the Federal section BEFORE I spent hours gathering receipts.
I will never understand why it says 1 free state filing and then I always have to pay for it at the end anyway...that's not FREE.
