Turbotax is slow and often difficult

TurboTax took forever to load, forever to change screens and malfunctioned in the middle of the e-filing process, causing a great deal of concern and aggravation.
Phone "support" is beyond useless into downright maliciously poor.

Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for taxes for several years and no major problems. However, they should disclose that you have to pay an additional fee to efile state returns! Whenever the consumer purchases the software & it states that you get 5 federal returns and one state return, you assume that everything is paid for. Unfortunately you don't realize that you have to pay to efile the state return & there was no way to opt out or just print it so it could be mailed.

not a good this year as in past years

I am disappointed in TurboTax this year (2020). it seemed to keep going back over the same questions multiple times even though the answer had been typed in. If there was an suspected error Turbo Tax was not specific. It was not very clear on how the stimulus we received was calculated into the refund amount. other than my refund was alot less this year than in past years.

Turbo Tax helps to make things easier

I have been using TT for decades, and I really like how easy it makes filing my taxes, despite them getting increasingly difficult. (more forms, etc) I am grateful for the electronic help, and filing is so easy, including direct deposit.
