I use Turbo Tax every year (for more than 8 years)

I use Turbo Tax every year. I now also have both of my daughters families using Turbo Tax. I reccomended it to two friends and they now use it and love it. It's easy and fast. It's the end of Janurary and my taxes are done and filed.

Needs Improvement

I can file a federal return for married, filing jointly, and at the same time file as married on separate returns for Iowa, which at times is tax advantageous. Problem - when TurboTax sees box checked for Iowa for married couples filing separately, it only generates an Iowa return for one tax payer. The code needs to be changed so it produces a desperate Iowa return for each taxpayer.

Turbo tax works well, but has a few minor bugs

Turbotax works will so long as you have a basic understanding of taxes. This year, a few minor items were confusing. The software insisted I fill out the address for solar energy upgrades to a home that I did not make, and that had no impact to my return. It was very insistent that I enter a address for these non-existent repairs. Still, Turbotax lets me complete my own returns with a minimal amount of research. Taxes used to take me 2 weeks. Now they only take two days of part-time effort!
