I have really like it in the past but now when there are different things going on, there is no real help to get answers to the problems that I'm having. I feel like this year, my taxes aren't right but I filed it anyway. I think I will be going to a tax professional next year.

Gets the job done

An easy step by step Q and A way of completing my annual 1040.
I still don't know why I have to calculate if I owe any taxes or not independently, when the IRS already has all the information and can tell me themselves.
Would like it if Turbo Tax could "tell" if my withholdings were correct or not based on the information entered. That would take a lot of worry and trouble out of trying to complete a new W4 on my own.

Significant effort is needed to make filing easy

For the most part the program works well. The biggest issue I had this year (and last) was when trying to pay for state e-file, the program glitches out forcing you to toggle screen resolution and/or run as administrator to get through the payment process. Another issue I have is with foreign tax credit/deduction. TT does little to help guide you through how to navigate it, so I've had to rely on help forums and google to get me through a frustrating process.

Screen Navigation

The majority of the functionality is great. However, what you desperately need is to keep the position on a prior screen when you navigate forward. It is time consuming to be positioned back at the top of the form you started at, and then have to scroll down to find the next topic you want/need to access.
