I've been using Turbo Tax for approximately 15 years. It's user friendly and I have never had a problem with it. It is very helpful that Turbo Tax is up to date every year and guides you through the process.

Well guided and easy to use. Up to date! With many changes this year it took a little longer but Turbotax helped me through it.

Turbo tax is not awsome

This product says it runs on a MAC book and it used to. Not this year. I had to switch machines.
The software will not let go of 1099-R box 9a. It will not take blanks or zero but that is what is on the form. The internet says that's OK and turbo tax should take it but it would not let me file until I changed it to a non zero value.
Next year I am going to look into your competition.

Turbo Tax is not user friendly

So difficult to read online

I find it difficult to read Turbo Tax with light blue or white letters on a pale blue background. I would prefer black letters on a white or light background. I tried to find a preference setting to change the graphics but could not. I even had an IT friend look for a better setting. He could not find it either.

this years software left a lot to be desired

phone support: none unless you pay extra. totally sucks when you have an issue with portions of the data collection and cannot get help with it online.
added a state: cost me $45 + tax to add one state. more than the version of the software used.
add efile for state: cost me $25 + tax. at this point i feel used and abused.
