Trouble with TT this year

This year was troublesome....kept getting an update message (3 different times) with the exact 249.2 mg file and the third time could not go past the update stage....called TT centre to let someone know my problem and to get some resolve, finally finished filing. Also, there was another point where the software simply logged me off....had to log back on to continue the return. This problem was relayed to TT Have used TT for years and never had such difficulties ..I use a MAC....maybe a time to change????

Good but misses on a couple points

Been using this comprehensive program for years. Filling out W4 forms is convoluted. New problem this year. Two 1099-R forms that were identical except one for me and one for my spouse. E-file was rejected. Turbotax should have detected the problem before E-filing.

Everything worked great but TurboTax had a pop up window warning me that at age 70 1/2 I would have to pay the Required Minimum Deduction on my IRA's. The age is now 72, please correct the window.

TurboTax - good but could be better

A. When entering 1099 investment data, TT should say clearly, If one does not download or enter details of asset sales, one will have to file 1099 on paper with form 8543!
B. Entering 1099 misc income caused TT to assume one is running a business and answer a bunch of non-relevant questions on Schedule C.
