This was a frustrating experience this year

I have used Turbotax for over 10, maybe 20, years. No problems until this year. White text in a light blue box with a white background is very difficult for an old guy to read. But I'll use it again next year.

TurboTax 2020 Deluxe was the perfect tool

The step by step instructions are very helpful, and the option to fill just the necessary forms is great. I was able to use the Deluxe version for Federal and State taxes claiming interest income, dividends, capital gains and losses, and K-1 forms for an LLC.
Montana state worksheets were much improved from last year - including the option to file separately on the single form to claim itemized deductions (used standard deduction for Federal and filed jointly). I was able to view all the forms and worksheets and verify the information prior to filing.

Turbo Tax, good but could use some tweeking

Turbo Tax needs to have a little more directive when having errors. It kept saying a field 'needs to be blank' and when I erased the amount in the field it said error again 'needs to be blank' with no direction. Also, the mortgage area kept telling me I was over $10k for deductions when I was no where close to $10k, but would not let me continue. This is the first year of using Turbo Tax so I guess I need to get used to the little nuances and quirks, and I will know what they are asking for next year. Little pop up boxes for each line would be helpful, especially when it says enter a number if you are taking the standard deduction and I am not taking the standard deduction...so what do I do then? It didn't say.

I have been using TurboTax for many years. You bring in old taxes, bring in new rules and make it easy for me to do do my taxes every year. You have saved me a whole lot of time over the years and I have no doubt of your validity.

Turbo Tax I Trust

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and find it to be completely reliable. I love the way it guides you through each area of your taxes with simple questions. I did not have a problem doing my taxes. I had a problem paying for e-filing my state taxes. Turbo Tax's expert solved my problem. I regret that I did not note her name.
