Having been using TurboTax for at least 25 years, it really helps you to do your taxes. If you follow the guidelines, it is makes it quite simple. Easy to get in and out of and to get to areas that you want to work with..

Great program

As a first time user of turbotax, I found the application to be easy to load and use and seemed to ask all the right questions. I also liked that I was able to import last years data from a PDF file even though someone else did my taxes last year using turbotax.

Purchased online. Have confirmation number. Wanted to efile. Program want to know confirmation number (again). No place to put it in. Links they have there don't work. Unbelievable that bad product like this is released.

Be smarter about the decision to use the Federal standard deduction or to itemize. Your assumption is that if your Federal tax is lower with the standard deduction, that is the one to choose. For me and others, the penalty for itemizing is more than offset with gains in the State return. Your software seems to make you feel stupid if you do not choose the standard deduction.

Unfortunately my taxes were submitted incomplete. Now it is my responsibility to refile a corrected return. I may need your help with that as I never have had to do this in previous years.
