TurboTax State Return (Ohio) Confusing

Could not file Ohio State Return because of a non-existent school system state tax id code. My school district (1823) does not take part in any tax collection service/bureau. Turbotax rejected the published district ID for Orange City Schools as invalid rather than unneeded and would not proceed to file without faking a form with zero collections. A coding table error or program error is clearly the cause.

Unfortunately this may be my last year w/TurboTax

Although I have happily filed my taxes with TurboTax for the last 20 years this may be the last year I am able to file with TurboTax due to your requirement that I update (on Mac) to OS 15 (Catalina). My computer as well as some of my essential software will not update to Catalina unfortunately and I may well be reduced to filing with one of the competing ”walk-in" Tax services. My low rating, above, does not actually reflect my overall "high" rating of TurboTax, and although I certainly understand your desire to use the latest OS, I am certainly saddened that I will be forced to make a decision in the future to use another source.

Turbo Tax max the process easy

Simply answer the questions from the software, then file. It took me about an hour. It saves the returns each year, so much of the information is uploaded at initial installation.
