Turbo Tax 2020 Review

Deluxe 2020 bug introduced after Mar 20 2021.

I've used desktop TurboTax for 10+ yrs. Today when I tried to continue work on my 2020 return, Deluxe 2020 would not find nor recognize my .tax2020 files. It automatically brought up my .tax2019 files and would not even open my .tax2020 files when I manually found them. David in Support was very thorough and kind while trying to determine the problem. When all options he tried failed, he contacted his supervisor who suggested I check "Run this program as an administrator" under the programs Properties/Compatibility. This seemed to fix the problem because when I reopened the app, it asked if I wanted to "Continue" plus had my .tax2020 file open. But the next time I opened the app it wanted to start a New return again (did not have my existing return). However, this time I was at least able to manually open my existing .tax2020 to continue. This bug did not exist when I last worked on my return on March 20. Please fix. Thank you.

Had huge problem just getting it to load from CD or Internet. Turns out I had to bring the display setting to minimum density 800x600 to get the load keys to work. Running the software was as good as usual. Trying to pay the $25 fee for State EFILE stinks. There I had to set the display setting to 1280x 800 to get it to work. Bouncing around the settings of my computer to get a piece of software to work stinks. May be time to switch to another product that has at least come up to the year 2000 in display support. Have been using TT forever and am NOT A HAPPY CAMPER ANYMORE.
