Almost got $1500 less this year, b/c CTC check box

The software has a check box for a SSN that can't be used for employment. I somehow inadvertently checked the box. This meant the Child Tax Credit (CTC) was going to be $500 instead of $2000 for my son. Which meant $1500 less on my refund. God was looking out for me because I noticed it on the form and went back through the personal data again. I figured out where to uncheck the box. This could have been a bad mistake. It would have been better if Turbo Tax specifically asked you a question about this which checked or unchecked the box to make sure this didn't happen.

Turbo Tax is great and easy. This is the first time in years I have filed my own returns. If I can prepare taxes using this program, anyone can do it. There are so many features that helps you to get the most possible refund. Thank you Turbo Tax.

Only if I knew upfront that I'm only going to use the standard deductions that I would not have to go through all deductions sections, but just be able to jump past the deductions section.
