E-File charges deceptive

I finished taxes on 3/26 (mine plus one). E-file charges for state return were $20. I reviewed over the weekend and went to submit on 3/29. Woosh ... e-file charges are now $25 ... $10 more out of my pocket. Deceptive and not appreciated. Just another brick in the wall to Turbo Tax.

Very Good But Some Bugs

The software generally worked well but had 2 notable problem areas. For two of the 5 returns that I do every year, it was able to upload last year's information. Even though all returns were saved in the same format and from the same software last year, it would not upload the information from last year for 3 of the returns. The other problem area was electronic filing. Despite having the accurate information to answer the IRS questions, the IRS rejected the electronic filing, and TurboTax wax particularly unhelpful in diagnosing the actual problem (only suggesting that last year's AGI may have been wrong - when it wasn't).

Turbo Tax Makes doing taxes easy

I had to amend my taxes that I had already filed this year, but I had made an error in entering the documentation. The process was easy with Turbo Tax and the items were refiled electronically.
