Turbo Tax is extremely easy to use and very User friendly. Guides you step by step so you don't miss any thing. You can get through your tax return very quickly and confident you have done it correctly

Filing State manually is not intuitive

Only having directions for filing state return on the printed copy at back of pile of printed forms is ridiculous. Need to at least communicate where the filing instructions for manual filing are in the printed form. Also, have to print out two copies of state - one for records and one for filing. I have used TT for years and it is an adventure each year. I have to be careful not to make mistakes on each new version because one year something is done well and the next I only know it was missed because I am comparing the previous year to what should have happened this year and didn't.

I had a very difficult time with Turbo Tax .last year but much more user friendly this year. I got through the entering and filing phase with little or no difficullty.

TurboTax Not User Friendly

Found TurboTax to be very difficult to use, and I have a very simple tax return. E-filed Federal taxes first, and held off filing Massachusetts taxes. Due to a glitch in the program, could not do this for several weeks. When I say not user friendly, I am comparing it to other tax programs I have used. One example is that other programs provide an easy way to enter your W-2, 1099, etc. by following along and filling in the boxes on an actual blank form. Not TT. The questions for each topic are not always clear, leaving you to wonder if you have done things correctly. Still easier to do taxes on paper than to use TT, (been doing them for 50 years). Also disappointed that as the tax season went on, the price to file the state taxes increased. Will not use TT next year.
