TurboTax CD

I've used TurboTax Deluxe CD for years now to prepare taxes for up to four people in my family. Always straightforward, if not to say easy. I do not understand the advantages/disadvantages of TurboTax Online versus TurboTax CD. Will try to figure it out before next tax season.

Turbo Tax is Excellent

I used Turbo Tax to e-file my 2020 taxes and several weeks after filing I received a 1099-R from an investment that incorrectly mailed it to an old address. I was now required to file a form 1040-X for my 2020 taxes. As soon as the form became available from the IRS Turbo Tax added it to the software. With very little fuss and bother I amended my return and sent that via e-file as well. All that is needed now is for the Government to send me the rest of my refund.
