I have used TurboTax to prepare my taxes since 2008. Usually it is simple and reliable. I like the lighthearted tone of the script. For this 2020 year, the software gave me some problems: It insisted on keeping payment vouchers, which I do not need, it with my tax forms. I was also confused about whether I am filing with the Standard Deduction or Itemized Deductions. Now that my forms are complete, I am not certain which method was used. I am less likely to recommend this software this year.

TurboTax since 1996!!!

My 2020 tax returns...another painless process thanks to TurboTax. Although I am quite experienced using the product (25 years), I still choose the option of letting TurboTax walk me through the entire process to make sure I don't miss something, as there are changes in every tax year.

overall, fairly easy to use. However, seems like this year I had to incorporate information that I entered in prior years.

After using another software program for several years, this year I made a switch and am so glad I did! This was extremely easy to use, the questions were thorough and the process was quick.
