TurboTax is pretty great

I did not file my taxes last year since I lost the conveniency of getting my taxes filed along with my parents. I kept putting it off until this year. I bought the TurboTax software and everything was easy. I highly recommend it - filing is already stressful enough and the creators of TurboTax/Intuit made sure everything was easy to understand! Thank you.

Turbo Tax is really good!

I've been using Turbo Tax for 17 or so years and it's been great! They walk you through everything step-by-step and help if you have unique tax situations, etc. And they help you find all the deductions that you have and help you organize everything!

Needs more built-in help

Turbo Tax does a great job walking you through the process of entering information and going through all necessary and possible entries. However, the provided information/help via the links need more information and clarification built into the desktop program. Although I read through the links where I needed help, I still had to Google search and read at least 2 different posts to fully understand the nuances of how I needed to enter information, what I could/could not do. The built-in Search function was inconsistent and very limited.

There's always something!

We have used Turbo Tax for well over a quarter century. For the most part, the experience has been very positive. However, this year we had a K-1 that presented some challenges that Turbo Tax did not handle:. We did find a workaround posted in the Turbo Tax Community dated March 2020. Hopefully, Turbo Tax will handle this situation in the program going forward.

Forms availability could be better, but otherwise

Other than the time it took for certain forms to be available (esp schedule c and the depreciation forms), which created problems that I didn't understand until calling customer service, everything was fine.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
