Turbo Tax Missed the Mark this Year

I have been using Turbotax for years and have always been very happy with it. This year was different however. The core tax function worked as expected and is easy to use. However, the software had many issues on my windows laptop. Activation as well as payment menus for e-filing had glitches and would hangup. Through google search and a lot of trial and error, i was able to get through with an added headache. Ended up needing to turn off firewalls and messing around with screen resolution. These issues should have been worked out in testing of the product on various platforms. I would expect many users won't be able to get past these hurdles, and I've never experienced these type of issues with out commercial software. Turbo tax needs to step up their platform testing next year prior to distribution.

Turbo Tax is Easy and Reliable

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 20 years. I will continue to use it as long as it remains as easy and reliable as it always has in the past and this current year.

The step by step instructions are simple to understand and they ask questions that you may not have considered or knew from tax law changes from year to year. It's a great program.
