I had a problem with the program this year.

I received a K-1 Form 1065 with entries only in 4b & 4c. This was a Guaranteed payment for capital and nothing more. When I went to e-file, the program said I had errors in Income or Loss from Estates and Trust and would not let me proceed. I was forced to mail my return at a cost of $4.00. The program has errors and should be fixed.

Mostly OK, needs some improvements

Satisfied with most of the process. The use of the AGI to provide security of an electronic transfer of the Federal forms is a disaster. This prevented my return from being transferred even when the correct number was entered. This happened last year and again this year. Turbo Tax needs to correct this and make electronic transfer seamless. We have used Turbo Tax for years and are now considering dropping it.. Please fix this glitch.

A Few Issues

1. Did not carryforward a large tax loss from the 2019 return.
2. Got into a loop on Federal and State returns. Data entered, but kept having to re-enter.
3. Finally got federal form accepted, but will have to print and send in State return for state worksheet that did not work correctly; It listed 2019 worksheet for schedule C, but comparison to 2020 did not input into worksheet and I could not enter 2020 data myself into worksheet. This prevented electronic filing of state taxes.
4. Admin cost for processing State return of $40 + $25 to electronically filing is way too much money. I'll print and submit by mail once I finish the state return.

Decent tax software but always upselling.

Decent tax software but always upselling. Such as buy additional add-ons like stock software and I only had a grand total of 8 stocks with one company and almost tricked into purchasing audit defense.
