It all went well until I had to deal with form 1099-B. Need to itemize on the 8949 section, and it all got very confusing, when dealing with long term transactions not reported to the IRS. Simplify that form please for that process.

Turbo Tax is pretty good

Turbo Tax is a pretty good product, but not great. It does a great job for accuracy. But it could do a better job on streamlining the process. Way too many screens to get to the point. I know taxes are complicated but Turbo Tax makes the process more complicated than it needs to be. I've used Turbo Tax since it was a DOS product (guess I'm hooked) but it seems to add more useless screens each year. It's like what the IRS did after the 2017 Trump tax cuts. The IRS took the 1040 and simplified it by moving half of what was on the 1040 to six new schedules. That didn't help at all. Intuit please streamline the process.

A most accurate tax prep program.

My only gripe with the last few years of using TurboTax is during the initial install. The Welcome screen first appears but then little information is shown on the install progress. Not even a "We're checking for ...." or a progress bar. Each year, I've clicked and double-clicked in an attempt to launch the install, only to realized it had already started. Surly this had to have been suggested by a "focus group" comment or from someone internally. This is a big lacking that maybe the programmers don't even notice, but the users see vividly! How about a fix?

Turbo Tax Great

First time user. Very straight forward and fairly easy to use. Had problem closing out and making user payment, but after much HELP from TIFFANY ( she was great, spent quit a bit of time with me) she figured it out and I was able to close out.
Only complaint - Needs to be easier to SPEAK WITH A LIVE AGENT.

I have been using turbotax for several years. It is simple and goes back and tells you what you did last time. It keeps a list of income and deductions so you don't forget to enter them from one year to the next.

Unable to activate TurboTax software without having to call support. (Screen resolution needed to be changed to 800x600)
Unable to import TurboTax pdf 2019
Unable to pay state filing fee without changing screen resolution and clearing browser internet cache.
I have been using TurboTax for over 20 years and this is the first time I have had problems using the software.
