Very good

The only question I had was with our first son in college that some of the scholarships he received were taxable but once I entered the info I couldn't see that it affected our taxes.

The application is mostly easy and intuitive to use (good choice of company names). Makes doing a painful job easy. This is why I continue to use the product. Great work!

Good program but not a good buy

I have used the TurboTax software for over 25yrs. Always bought the disc and got the one free state download just as I did this year. However while helping a relative with their return online because they needed multiple state returns and finding out that they were able to file a federal return along with two state returns for FREE. I will no longer be purchasing software (plus paying to e-file my state) in the future. I have been loyal to this software brand for over 25 years to feel like I am being taken advantage of, but not anymore.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I had a baby

I have used Turbo Tax for the postman years. Somehow, this year, the software failed to find/recognize last year's report. Had to re-inter everything. Other than that, everything worked very well.

Online vs. downloadable

Don't care for online version of Turbo Tax. Prefer downloadable (like old CD version). The downloadable version one can do multiple individual returns. Great for families. Taht was not clear for the online version. I ended up paying twice for the 2020 Turbo Tax. Was not happy.
