To Continue or Not to Continue

Have used Turbotax for almost 20 years and have taught my daughters to use Turbotax to complete their taxes. This is the first year I have run into a problem so frustrating that I said I would never use Turbotax again. I finally got through to someone at Turbotax, and they said it was a Windows problem. After three days of troubleshooting, I uninstalled Turbotax and reinstalled it. It worked fine after that. I had been specifically told that I should not do that. So you can see why I am questioning Turbotax and it's support group.

Turbo Tax is good but does not cover all costs

The title says covers e-filing for federal and state taxes. This is not the case. IT COVERS THERE COST ONLY> THERE ARE other charges you do not know about until after you have completed and started the e-filing process. They know your state so should have a disclaimer right off the bat.

Turbo Tax Has Never Let Me Down!

I have used Turbo Tax for over 15 years. It is so simple and leads you through everything needed for a complete tax return. The one thing that I am most impressed with is the way it goes through everything with a fine toothed comb during and after you have finished entering your information. It double checks every portion and even gives you help with things you may not have known were important on a tax return. Also, when we entered into the world of having to pay taxes instead of getting refunds, it walked me through my options of paying my taxes in full or setting up a payment plan. Turbo Tax has been with me every step of the way!

We used for years until taxes got a bit too complicated. Now we are back using it and it was so easy, and helped us to make sure we got everything correct. Was a little nervous, but am glad we made the choice to use TurboTax again.

Turbo Tax was lacking for 2020

It started when I signed on, then I waited in limbo. Finally I realized it was checking for updates, etc. but gave me no indication what was going on. Later, I found it difficult to return to a previous screen without starting over in that process. You should always include a path out. The file screens were also difficult, again , it left you in limbo or stuck you on a screen with no was out.
