Turbo tax does make it easy except their costs and multiple versions keep making it harder to use. They take necessary features that use to be standard and spin off into more products (cash flow to Intuit)

Turbo Tax is very helpful filling taxes

Some spots are a little unclear but I blame that on my age "75". I usually have to go back and redo some areas of the forms, like reporting last years state and local tax refunds. We received these refunds because we overpaid our taxes so I don't know why we have to pay taxes on these refunds the following year. Otherwise, I really enjoy using Turbo Tax

New Version Of Turbo Tax - Jury Still Out

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and was sorry to see that it no longer ran on Windows 7 since that is the platform that I use for everything that I do.
I had to downgrade to Windows 8.1 to make it run, and as everyone knows, that version of Windows is absolutely terrible and takes forever to perform the most basic task. So that is one downside of the new version of Turbo Tax.
The new version also had a lot of difficulty finding my tax return from last year, repeatedly telling me that I had no tax data on my computer, even though the files were plainly there to be seen. I finally had to manually import them into the new version.
The new version of Turbo Tax appears to have some stability problems since it froze on me several times and had to be restarted. This wasn't a huge problem but it was annoying.
Aside from those little annoyances, the program ran well and did the job that it was designed to do.
Please correct these bugs andmake it run on Windows 7.
