Good BUT missed important IRS guidance.

Traditionally I give Turbotax 5 stars. However, this year TT fell down a little. IRS guidance on the Unemployment Benefits Exclusion indicated a simple addition of "UCE" on form leading to schedule 1. They authored the guidance on Friday. For such an important update, TT should have updated software or at least allowed / accepted User over-ride to allow electronic filing. They did not creating A PROBLEM FOR MILLIONS. Too bad. one star lost.

Did not have the opportunity to page through return.
Had to recall a large deduction that Turbo Tax missed. I had to select forms page.

TurboTax once again made file taxes easy.

TurboTax just makes my experience filing taxes easier each year. I liked the hints that let you know they will ask about related information later in the data entering sections. It helped easing the confusion about when I should enter information.

Love TurboTax

I had trouble inputting deductions. A blue bubble appeared disallowing any entries. Your customer support only offered the suggestion to use Chrome. Never had to do this in the past. Since I used a standard deduction, this hiccup did not matter.

TURBOTAX IS DEPLORABLE

I have been using tax prep programs for years and have never been so dissatisfied with a product. My usual program has always been H&R Block but I changed this year so I coud use the CD, which H&R no longer offers. Program was difficult to load, would not carryover my information from H&R for the previous year, took forever to load each time it was turned on, took forever to load individual tax files (I had 4), and ultimately, after preparing all 4 returns, would not effectively transmit for efiling. I have never been so frustrated and have vowed to never use TurboTax again. BTW, my neighbor had significant problems as well, of a different nature, and will not use again.
