It was adequate

I found it difficult to understand some of the entries. If I didn't get my taxes done by a professional last year to check against, I would have made some big errors that would have passed the checking system but maybe not the IRS. I found the help system frustrating. If all you have is standard deductions and no special situations, it is fine and you may as well use the free software. The only advantage was I didn't a service $400+ to do my taxes (keep in mind, I used a service to mimic my entries for correctness)

Processing Fee

I bought the Turbotax Deluxe edition, and it is still trying to charge me $40 to process my refund. I can not find a way to avoid this and can not understand why I am being charged. I think the purpose of buying Deluxe to have everything paid for except the State E-File charge?

It was all good until it was time to efile

I have used Turbo Tax for many years with great results, until this year! In the end when it is time to e-file, we are forced to purchase the audit defense for 45.00 in order to move forward. What was the reason behind this? Why wait until the end? Not happy at all with this move. I will be considering using a different filing program next year.

Turbo Tax is great!

Turbo tax was really easy to use and it helped me get the most out of my refund. Only problem I had was with the Activation page before I even started filing.
