Forced to use this

If the federal website was properly funded and useable, I would never be here. Instead, this site scams my friends into paying for tax filing even if they're eligible for free file and I'm stuck using it as well. I have to sign in to my account 5 times just to file my return once. Getting my previous return for AGI verification is very complicated and when I ask to see it, I have to give them a reason. Like I'm in grade school and need to go the the restroom.

Better results then my (now former) CPA

I was surprised by the amount I owed in Federal taxes when I received my return from the CPA, thank goodness I did not have him send it in. I got TurboTax to see if my results differed, and boy did they. It is very evident that my CPA did not go through my return and all my documents thoroughly. I simply entered all the requested information and, although it was labor intensive, the $1200 difference made it soooooo worth it. I was worried that perhaps I put something in the wrong area, and that somehow my entries were fraudulent, but I went back through everything and it all worked out the same. The final tax review done by TurboTax set my mind at ease.

Final filing problem

For the final filing to charge the state return to my credit card some of the forms were a bit larger than my laptop screen. I was able to continue only by tabing through the form until I could see the top of the form and guess that the tab was there. Then hit enter to continue.
