I Felt Confident Using Turbo Tax Deluxe

I got through my taxes using TurboTax Deluxe. I'm slow and methodical, and I don't know a whole lot about taxes, so it took me pretty much a whole day before I felt certain about it. I felt Schedule E was a bit lacking, I went to the actual IRS form to fill it out in the way that previous years have been done.

TurboTax is awesome

I've used TurboTax for more than 5 years. I like the ease of use of the tool. It simplifies many complicated issues. Further explanation is handy at touch of the finger. If further details are needed, online help is available. I like the comparison to prior years to help verify nothing was missed and nothing looks to far out of range to prior year. It there is a big difference, these differences can be located in worksheets or tax form differences.

Hard to file

Filed Fed tax electronically. I assumed that all forms were electronically submitted yet received instructions to mail-in form 8450 separately. Hours later tried to file state return electronically but the program will not allow it. I gave up trying and went to mail in the state form. The instructions did not specify which forms needed to be included with the mail in.
