Good, could be better

For the most part TT does what I need it to do: make sure I pay attention, make sure the right forms are included, do the calculations, facilitate filing. But it's flawed by the provider's tendency to ignore problems that are very important for small subgroups--those who refinance jumbo mortgages, for example, especially Californians--and to leave small annoyances in place, such as not being able to copy-and-paste formatted numbers (eg, with commas and/or dollar signs) from other software (something that Quicken, for example, allows routinely).

Bought Software and STILL HAD TO PAY TO E-FILE

I PURCHASED THE TURBOTAX PROGRAM FOR AROUND 50.00 AND THAT WAS WITH AN ADUIT GURANTEE HELP, YEAH FOR 45 MORE, THEN I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER ADDTIONAL SET OF FEES TO E-FILE BOTH MY STATE AND FEDERAL TAXES, SO IN THE END WE SHOULD HAVE JUST WENT TO OUR OLD ACCOUNTANT BC WE PAID MORE WITH TURBOTAX THAN WHAT WE DID JUST TO DROP OFF PAPERWORK AND HAVE THEM DO ALL THE LEGWORK, AND THEN WE CAME BACK PAID 65.00 AND THEY GAVE US OUR FILED TAXES. NOT GOING TO RETURN AS A CUSTOMER IF YOUR COMPANY IS JUST GOING TO CONTINUE TO ADD FAT TO THE TOTAL COST FOR ME TO FILE MY OWN TAXES....

Love Turbo Tax !!!!!!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. Used to pay several hundred dollars every year to have my taxes done. Decided to try your software and was certainly glad I Did. It is so easy to use and saves me money. What more could you ask for.

Trouble with Turbotax and Microsoft

We finished filling out all the information in Turbotax on the computer, then were unable to do the required "update" due to a "Microsoft installer error 1316." Upon researching this seems to be a common problem. We had to find and use an old computer and redo everything. It was such a mess and took way too much time.

Turbo Tax Failed Me

Turbo Tax did not apply my $5,000 advance payment to the IRS calculations (which I do annually) in order to offset any potential penalties, as I usually file late In other words, I should receive back my $5,000 in advance payment, in addition to ($304) which turbo tax determined that I am due. My total tax due (determined by Turbo Tax) is $1,138.
It indicated my total payments/credits for tax year 2019 is $1,442.
