Disappointing this year. So I paid for the software, then had to pay additional for 2 states and pay just to e-file an additional fee. I will be looking at other software companies. I stuck to this software and taught my kids on it, but the fees are almost as much to go to a tax preparer.

Very Poor Help on re-filing rejected state tax e-f

Received an email from Turbo Tax stating Action Needed! Your rejected state return. There was absolutely no way they walked me through anything regarding updating and re e-filing my state return. I was not able to open my return and see the "details causing the problem". I bought my Turbo Tax disc at Meijer just like previous years and never had this problem. Very frustrating because I was again trying to file for my 93 year old Mom. The Federal filed fine but the Illinois filing was rejected. It would be nice to be able to call or talk to someone online. Please advise

Turbo Tax is the only tax return software I've ever used, so I can't say it's better than anyone else, however Turbo Tax has never given me a reason to switch to anyone else. Easy to use and the helpful tools, it has always made filing my taxes as easy as possible.

Turbo Tax blew it on my Pennsylvania Return

When completing my Pennsylvania forms, somehow I got locked into an EU form indicating that I had zero business expenses. Turbotax insisted on me giving a name, address, etc for this business even though there was none and evn though the value was zero. There was nothing I could do to get out of filling out this form, even though it was created totally in error. I am retired and have no business expenses.
