TurboTax loyal, but technical issues this year

I am a computer consultant, but struggled with activation (blank screen) and again with purchasing the state e-file. In fact I spent an hour trying to buy the state return. I had to keep playing with resolution settings and getting more blank screens. Very aggravated.

The program is good. I had to get help from David from Turbo Tax because of errors I had. Do Not put "0" in a field when your papers have a "0". Plus there was a question about a wife's filing, If she filed Standard or Itemized. and it says "This is not common" That should have told me that it does not apply to me. Very hard to understand. Thank you very much for the help David from Turbo Tax.

seams to be an error in the software

My wife inherited part of an non-qualified insurance annuity from her father. Her father was in his 90s when he past. $ children each got 1/4. The software is tell me if it not for the 2020 Cares Act she would have been required to take an RMD when everything else tells me there is no RMD on a non-qualified annuity inherited through death.

I've been using this program for years and it's been helpful that everything from the previous year always transfers over ... a time saver considering if you keep changing programs. Have always been easy to follow and help topics are well explained.
