Good experience with using turbo tax for several years. Just wished they would be more proactive at the beginning of each tax year to notify me when the new tax data is ready and purchased.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 30 years and I have never had a problem and, I am able to still do my own taxes at age 79. Praise God!

Mostly great with some big annoyances

I'm using the desktop version of TT.
A few things are frustrating:
- When importing from brokerages, you can't paste into the password field, making password managers difficult.
- Backdoor Roth IRA flow is still more frustrating than it could be. Specifically entering the basis in traditional IRA was difficult this year.

I am very disappointed by Intuit's lobbying of the federal government to keep taxes comple and prevent the IRS from offering more filing help to taxpayers.
Other than this Turbotax remains one of the best packages out there.

Makes it Easy

Do ours and one of our daughter's. While we live in 2 different states and as such, there was some additional charges, it was a simple process to complete both of our federal and respective states forms. I just followed the path they lead you on and it went pretty quickly and painlessly. I've been using Turbo Tax for at least 10 years - has not disappointed me yet.

It missed my eligibility for the 2020 stimulus payment. My daughter caught the mistake and I had to file an amended return because of TuroboTax. It needs work.
