Turbo Tax is Excellent!

Turbo Tax makes filing taxes a breeze. The program asks all the necessary questions and does all of the calculations automatically.

I've used Turbo Tax annually and find it easy, except this time I noticed some of my responses has not been saved properly. I had to go back several times, especially toward the E-filing time as I wanted to make sure it provided the right responses.

Turbo Tax is Great

I've been using TurboTax for over 20 years! Not sure it's as good as in former times. Turns out I owed a tax penalty for under payment of taxes through the year. This wasn't mentioned through the course of the process - only noticed it upon review of forms at end.

Easy to follow, for the most part

In general, I've had great experience using TT for my tax returns. However, this year there was a glitch in their software that had an error keep popping up regarding deferring self employment taxes. I went to the help section on the site and saw that many others were having the same issue which was preventing people from getting past a certain point in the process. Finally, on March 9, a software update was created/installed and it was fixed. I guess it took so many people to complain for the fix to be implemented. Also, there were some things/terminology during the process I didn't understand so I had to look it up on google. Usually, there's an "I" icon next to something so it can explain it further. Anyway, not bad. I'd use TT again.

Problems with printing--no electronic PDF option

Everything OK till the end. I don't need every form printed, only ones with information pertinent to my return. Wasted many (44+) pages of paper and lots of toner. Clicked the print option at the end, printed everything, but I still can't find an option for an electronic PDF so I could pick and choose what to bring. Have used Turbo for the past 4 years.
