Fantastic phone for the cost

This a great phone on a budget. The camera is amazing. the functionality of it is very intuitive and did not take long to adapt to coming from an iPhone. Battery life is very impressive - I use my phone a lot throughout the day and a single charge can easily make it 26-28 hours. I've been recommending this product to any of my friends looking for a new phone.

Return of sanity to my cell phone

I have had smart phones from nearly every major manufacturer, and I just adore this Pixel 5. I got it as a replacement for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 5G. I figured it would be a little less powerful but I have not noticed anything. In fact it works better, especially the finger print scanner! The added features that are currently exclusive to the pixel are a welcome improvement. Spam calls have been driving me insane. Sometimes I will get 6 in a row! But the Assistant on the Pixel 5 screens my calls, gives me a transcript and prevents me from being bothered by the calls and then having to subsequently clear the voicemails. It is a welcome thing to no longer be disturbed by those annoying calls. Since the FCC isn't dealing with the issue fast enough, this is the next best thing. I highly recommend this phone. Perfect size, great cameras and features.

From Samsung to Pixel

The Read Aloud features, the accessibility features and the highly integrated assistant all make it so much easier to use this phone! Lightweight, intuitive and very practical; it has all the features I want and no unwanted software. I'm definitely glad I made the switch!I thoroughly enjoy this phone and will be a Pixel fan from now on! A huge thank you to Google and everyone involved in the Pixel projects!

It's ok

I upgraded from the pixel 3 XL to the pixel 5. I haven't found anything different from the other phone yet. Usually when I get a new phone I see a few new things and I say hey cool! I kind of wish I kept my old one for now

Nice phone; great camera!

I upgraded to Pixel 5 from a Pixel 2. I considered moving to an iPhone but I am a long time Android user and I really loved the Pixel 2. I would give 4.5 stars to Pixel 5. I'm still getting used to not having any buttons at the bottom and struggling a bit with the swipe left/right to go back. It's just something to get used to but I have accidentally closed windows and lost progress because I'm trying to move something on the screen and if you get too close to the edge, watch out. I also have difficulty closing all my open apps, just need to get used to different functionally. On positive note, the camera is amazing! Just for fun I pointed up at the night sky around where I can typically see the"big dipper" but I couldn't see it with naked eye yet and not only did I get a great shot of the big dipper, it pulled out other stars I couldn't see! Also, got the Google air buds which work fabulously with this Pixel 5. I don't have many 5g towers yet so can't comment. Overall, very happy.

Screen sensitivity

LIKE MY PIXEL 4A, THE SCREEN DOES NOT ALWAYS RESPOND WHEN OPENING AN APP. IT OCASIONALLY WILL REARANGE WHERE I HAVE MY ICONS AND WILL TURN THINGS ON OR OFF IN SETTINGS. IT DOES PLAY MY BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES BETTER BUT WAS DISAPPOINTED WHEN I DID NOT HAVE AN EXTERNAL JACK. IT HAS SOME BUGS THAT NEED TO BE FIXED THRU UPDATES.

Pixel Love

I had the first gen pixel and loved it. I made the mistake of going to the Samsung s10 and hated it for two years. Piece of trash. I'm back on the pixel (5) and I'm so happy to be back. Everything is better on the pixel. The implemention of Android is so much cleaner and more intuitive. I'm done trying other brands. Really happy with this phone.
