OK phone, nothing stellar

I returned the phone for a refund because my carrier (T-Mobile) does not really support it and we completely failed to get it working on the network. The only reason I bought it in the first place was to get new software first, but the phone and the carrier issues make it not worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well. I like the feel of it. Great battery life. Photos seem good, haven't taken that many yet. Night sight is cool.

Very overpriced, the speaker on mine does not seem to work well, connectivity to service seems worse than it was on my Pixel 3. Same price as that phone and feels significantly less well made--and I say that about a phone that consistently overheated for a year for no reason. It's all a racket and I'm tired of playing the game. On the plus side, the camera is good and the whole industry has the same problems. Battery life is significantly less bad than my old 3.

Fantastic phone for a decent price

So far I have been absolutely amazed by the Pixel 5. The battery life in particular has been light years better than any phone I've ever had. It feels nice in the hand, even for someone with small hands like myself. The screen size is just right, too. All around great phone!

It's a good phone so far for me. Compared to pixel 3 it's a great phone . Camera quality threw me off completely since its so much better than the last pixels.
