Bigger screen
on June 14, 2021

My only real complaint is that the screen is a little small. I had a pixel 3A and I was expecting more that size. This wouldn't be a problem if my vision wasn't slipping. Other than that everything runs smoothly and I love the phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Swipe left for nooooo
on April 16, 2021

There's a new way to back out/back up. Swipe left. Unfortunately, for those of us who have dating apps, swiping left on a profile will often take you right out of the app unintentionally. Same goes if looking at notifications, swipe left and you're archiving notifications that you didn't read yet because you were simply trying to back out. Soooo annoying. Swipe left simply conflicts with too many apps and mechanics that also overlap with that function. How did they not see this?

Pixel 5 , decent phone from Pixel 2 XL
on April 17, 2021

I had a Pixel 2 XL since release, absolutely LOVED that phone. Fast forward to April 2021, and it was past time to update. I wanted another Pixel, because I LOVED my Pixel 2 XL, and being as close to a purist as possible, I figured this was a great option. So, as a phone with features that I NEED, it's great. The only thing is, it's not the flagship the 2 XL was, but it's still full of great features. The screen size is identical to the 2 XL, but the resolution is a little less... But for my needs I can't tell. The upgraded storage to 128gb is great, the return of the fingerprint sensor where the 2 XL was is also a plus. I just wish it was more focused on flagship features, like faster processor, GPU, etc, because technically the 2 XL was faster. I don't like the removal of soft buttons for going back, etc, but I'm getting used to the swipe method. All in all, I like this phone a LOT, just wish it was more "flagship focused"
