I am tech savvy, i actually use my device for a diversity of things, and this pixel phone fill my expectations i don't have any real complaint about anything the system is responsive and reliable, i bought pixel buds and the wizard for paring was a dream.transition from my old phone was very easy and without issue, a love this phone, absolute recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Screen is pretty. Performance is fast. 5G is reliable. Battery life is acceptable. Quality of manufacture is high.

I just upgraded from the original Pixel to the Pixel 5. The swipe functions are very different. I still haven't decided how much I like them and if I will return it for something different. Everything else is fairly similar, including size. I would have appreciated improved apps...a better camera rather than all the reinvented swipe functions. The only reason I finally got a new phone was because the battery was holding less and less charge and would randomly shut down.Would I recommend the Pixel 5...maybe, but I say that and also admit that I am not a technology guru and can shut my phone down and just walk away from it and be a free human in the wild!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's not a finished product

Full screen doesn't work properly. Navigating through the phone is inconvenient. Went from Pixel 2 to Pixel 5. Kinda disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone but has it's quirks

I previously had the Pixel 3xl, which I loved. I didn't realize how much smaller this phone was going to be, made me sad. Almost every other day I have issues with the volume keys. They don't respond and I have to restart my phone in order for it to work properly again. I miss my old Pixel 3xl even though it sometimes had the same issue but at least it had a bigger screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've only had this phone for a couple of weeks, but so far it's working well. I like the long battery life, the camera, and the flat screen. The only think I'm not loving that the pixel 2 had is that arrows and home button are no longer available. Instead you have to swipe from the side or bottom to get to a new screen, but I'm getting used to it. Glad the fingerprint scanner is still on the back and not on the front like some of the other new phones.
