A long decision

I held off for a lot of months on buying this phone. My previous phone was a OnePlus 6 and I was really debating on getting the newest OnePlus phone. I have always used Google for everything, from work to personal life. Life. Getting this phone has been an incredible experience. Everything I hope for every review I read. Every review I saw on YouTube was spot on. You can't have everything in this world, but this phone comes very close.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What happened to the Squeeze gesture?

Smaller screen, harder to read.No improvements on the camera over previous versions.The Squeeze function has been removed. This is an essential feature which must be brought back!

A great (overpriced) phone!

I love the Pixel 5 but it definitely comes with a couple caveats that aren't issues for me but may be for other people. The big thing is the external speakers are terrible especially compared to the Pixel 3 I came from and the P2 before that. It isn't a major issue for me but it may be for some people. The second is that while the cameras are great and having the wide angle is nice, the rear camera quality is IDENTICAL to my Pixel 3 and the selfie camera is a step down, so don't be expecting a big improvement with your purchase. Also, third party apps like IG and snapchat went from looking almost as good as the native camera on the P3 to looking a bit junky, which may not be an issue for you like it isn't for me, but I still noticed it. Everything else is baller though. This phone has a great screen (that's a little blue sometimes tho), great software, a battery that is amazing, and still very good cameras. Also I love it's form factor and the sage green back that feels like cardboard.

Puts my old Samsung Galaxy S7 to shame! The difference is night and day. I love the Google Pixel 5 camera, the ease of use and it's speed. It's second to none in my opinion!

Great phone

Went from a galaxy 5 to a pixel 5. They are about the same size, fits in pockets and purses easily. Still on a learning curve, but I'm enjoying the speed and clarity of this phone. Best choice for this senior.

This is one of the best phones I have owned. I am a fan of Google products anyway, and the Pixel 5 has features that make it stick out to me. It is a great phone.

Really Good Phone

This is my third pixel and the best one yet. I had a Note Ten plus before which is a good phone but I definitely like the pure Android experience on the pixel. I feel like the Samsung software and apps get in the way and add no value. I love how pixel 5 is all screen w no notch. Also, great UI and it's so easy to switch apps and screens. I love all the digital well being features. Finally, I run a lot and this phone is perfect size to take on runs.
