Not enough

It just isn't quite a pixel. It's more of an "a" model. The form factor is great, I like how lightweight it is but the camera and performance don't stack up. I'm actually returning it because I had audio issues. I hope that there are future pixels targeted at flagship sector again. The pixel UI and launcher are the best experience a smartphone has to offer and I will miss using it until that happens.

Excellent Device

I am thrilled with my Pixel 5 despite the gaggle editors who falsely equate phone quality with minimally relevant hardware specs. The phone is a dream. Google's open approach and integrated software portfolio needs to be experienced to be appreciated. I've had enough time with it to say that it excels in all areas that matter to me: (1) camera is excellent; (2) fingerprint scanner does not rely on face recognition; (3) amazing battery life; (4) integrated Google experience; (5) 5G via Google Fi.(6) back button; (7) single-handed navigation (8) Dark Mode; (9) awesome call screening and "hold" call back. It's a wonderful phone.

So Far So good

Only had a it a few days ... but was up and running within minutes of plugging in my SIM card. My last phone was the Pixel 3 and the transfer was seamless. The 5 didn't restore all my settings (specifically the groups and screen set up) but that could have been because I wasn't on wifi. Battery life is great, camera is quick and responsive.

They are great phones. If you are used to a samsung note or galaxy you will be spoiled and not like the size of the pixel screen.

Regularly loses service and needs to be rebooted
on April 21, 2021

About once a day, I have to reboot the phone in order to get reception. It's not the coverage area, because I don't move locations to recover service, the phone simply doesn't recognize that it has service until I reboot it. Pretty annoying.

Great, small

I would give it 5 stars if it were larger. Coming from a Pixel 2 XL, its hard to get used to, but Google felt the need to not offer a Pixel 5 XL . Other than that, its fast, esy to use!
