Great features

Impressed with the battery. The fingerprint security feature is much better than face recognition especially in mask wearing days. Love the addition of wide lens for photos.

I do not like this phone. It freezes up at least 2x a day. It doesn't save my voice mails.It doesn't save my screenshots,. Hard to use.Hate it

Great Upgrade

Coming from the Pixel 2, and the Nexus 6P before that, the Pixel 5 is a good upgrade. But it isn't exactly a fun upgrade. While the upgrade from Pixel 2 is seamless, it may be a little too seamless. It didn't feel like I had made an upgrade after a while. But I bought the Pixel 5 for the software, not the device, so if that was the goal I had nothing to complain about. I liked the Pixel 2, so this just felt like a v2. I just wish there was something more interesting about the device. Pros: 90Hz screen is better than the old screensMore screen real estateBattery lasts forever (2 days without charge)IP68 Water resistance ratingRear finger print scanner (more friendly than a face recognition in this age)Cons:Nothing makes me say "wow" about itSqueeze to activate assistant is goneNo blinking notification LED

I have had all the Pixels cell phone and I will not go for a different phone anymore one of the best phones on the market. Love the camera and the improvement they have made

Very Happy with my new Pixel 5

I've had my Pixel 5 for about 1 week now and so far so good. I upgraded from a Pixel 2 so there are lots of changes such as how to navigate between apps but the performance is vastly improved and screen is nice and crisp. There are some issues that cropped up in the last system update to the Pixel 2 which unfortunately seem to exist on the Pixel 5 as well. For example when my morning alarm goes off the Pixel's sound is left off and it used to get turned back on automatically. Now I need to remember to turn the sound back on every morning.

Pixel 5 perspective

I have been a pixel user for sometime. My last Pixel 3 just stopped worked. It was less than 2 years old and it appeared to be a battery issue so I was very hesitant to get another pixel. But the reviews on the 5 seemed good so I thought I would give it a try. Overall its a good phone and thus far I am happy with it... a few thinks I don't like. Maneuvering through screens on google and different apps is still a bit challenging as there really isnt a "back" button. Everything is done swiping the screen which is not a perfect science. So for example if you are on maps in your car and want to minimize the app to go to a music app to play a different song its a bit tricky and can take a couple of attempts. The phone is fantastic and a huge improvement over the previous model. All in all its a solid phone at a good price.
