Love the phone, getting to the home screen is a little clunky but workable.Using dual sim, DO NOT like that I can only text from one number.

My Pixel 2 died and I needed a replacement

I was totally psyched when I turned on my new Pixel 5 after my Pixel 2 died. Everything was exactly as I left my old phone. Wallpapers, apps, EVERYTHING was there.

Meh...so far

Probably happier with Android 11 than with the handset so far. Not excited about the smaller form factor after using the XL series since Pixel first launched. It has some cool features but not completely sold on it yet.

No worth the price

This phone did not meet my expectations. I had the 4XL and lost it on my vacation. When I purchase and received the google 5 5G my impression was “what is this? Did I get a basic economic android phone.” I loved my 4 XL if only the 5 had been better. Unfortunately for now I’m moved on to an iPhone that’s the same price although I’m thinking about trying Samsung or Galaxy.

Easy conversion from pixel 3

Dropped my pixel3 in a lake unexpectedly, sank to bottom and was not retrievable. Decided to stick with Google Pixel, and the 5 was a good fit for me. Size was very similar (I don't want a huge brick of a phone) but lighter and bigger screen. Set up was wonderfully easy from the Google backup (all apps, contacts came right back) Was delighted that pictures taken minutes before the old phone sank were all saved in my Google photos acct.Useful prompts and tips pop up to help me understand new features, without a big delay. Happy with this purchase, seamless upgrade even without old phone available.

Better than expected!

I had a pixel 4 and was very disappointed with the battery life, but WOW the Pixel 5 has exceeded my expectations. The UI is cleaner and the screen feels so much bigger. Sure, I miss my orange phone color, but the sage is pretty ok, too.Great device!

It's OK.

There are plenty of things to like about this device. It links well with Google assistant, there isn't a ton of bloat-ware like from Samsung or Sony phones, it has good battery life, the finger print scanner is easy to find with the no look. And then things I don't like, music output seems sub-par, the software sometimes closes out screens if it rotates to and from portrait mode, no easy way to have a default account (if you have multiple accounts on phone it seems to auto pick the one I don't want as the main account), Google buds app that I use for the pixel buds doesn't show up as an app and anytime I want to open it I have to do so from the app store. All in all its an OK phone,

I prefer a high end phone. I got stuck with the Pixel 5 after my Pixel 3XL crapped out on me and had to be replaced. This was due to poor programing that made it impossible to install new OS updates. Doubt I will be sticking with Google after this phone.
