Got this to replace my old pixel 2. Colors are so much better and I'm glad it kept the same back touch button

The phone is extremely fragile. Screen shortcuts are not good. Photos come out well. nothing special and not easy to operate. I'm going back to Samsung.

Best Pixel I've had!

I've had almost every Pixel and this is the best one, battery life much improved from previous models and overall great product!

Better battery life, noticeably so. Otherwise no marked improvements over Pixel 3 in photo quality/options, or app performance. Slightly better sound and picture quality. Haven't noticed any significant improvements from having 5G (through Google Fi). Disclaimer: I really enjoyed switching from LG on Metro PCS to Pixel 3 on Google Fi, upgrade from 3 to 5 was rather anti-climactic.

Decent phone but a few shortcomings

I've been using Galaxy phones since S2 up to Note 20 Ultra. I've had it with their eSIM drama so i purchased Pixel 5. Coming from Samsung's UI, it's a bit of an adjustment. Some things i miss (palm to take picture, silence camera shutter, etc.) but nothing major.the smaller screensize took a bit of getting used to, but i kinda like the smallish phone.When both SIMs are active, i can only do 4G - why? i should be able to designate one SIM to do 5G, while the other can be 4G or even 3G.other than these, so far so good. but frankly, if Samsung offers eSIM in US, i'd probably switch back to Galaxy phones.
